Pottery Lane is dedicated to the success of every artist involved in Flux Market. We believe in artists supporting artists and are eager to share our proven methods of success to help budding creatives feel confident in showing their work for the first time. In preparation for the market we will be hosting multiple free coaching opportunities covering the following topics for all participants.

  • What size booth you should opt for.
  • How to plan for how much inventory you may need.
  • Mapping out how much time you will need to reach inventory goals
  • How to strategically focus creation hours.
  • How to appropriately price various pieces.
  • How to operate a mobile point of sale system.
  • Marketing your involvement leading up to the show
  • Acquiring professional photos for self promotion

Booth Options

Booth Setup will begin on Saturday at 7am, please give yourself time to fully set up and be ready to sell by 9:45am. Breakdown for booths will begin on Saturday at 5:01pm. We ask that all vendors do not start packing items until after the market officially ends.

Artists are responsible for charging purchases as well as collecting sales tax

What kind of vendors can apply?

FluxGR is created with the intention of giving opportunity to local artists to show their work. Ceramic artists are encouraged to apply, as well as small businesses and individuals whose production supports, collaborates, or pairs well with ceramic work.

What is the acceptance criteria?

We review each application carefully and thoughtfully, and base our vision for beautiful, cohesive, and intentionally-curated Fairs on the criteria below:

QUALITY

You use high quality materials and techniques to make your work durable, sustainable, and market-ready.

ORIGINALITY

Your work, branding, and packaging are thoughtful, intentional, and unquestionably by your own design.

PRODUCTION

Your work is designed and/or handmade by you, and materials are sourced in an ethical and sustainable way. If you outsource your work in any way, please describe your supply chain, including your relationship with the makers in your application.

What's the payment and fees?

We do not collect booth fee(s) upfront on the application.

If you are accepted to the event, we will send an email notification to your provided email address and we will charge the card -or- email you an invoice on file for the booth fee(s) you selected following the schedule below.

Should you not be accepted to the event, your card will not be charged for the booth fee(s).

What's your refund and cancellation policy?

In the event you must cancel your participation:

If you cancel before the cancellation deadline, we will not charge the booth fee. If you cancel your participation on or after the cancellation deadline, we can not offer a refund.
